Miami, FL (09.9.23) – Jim McCoy Racing and Patrick Staropoli brought home a special win from Auburndale Speedway this weekend. The #64 Chevy qualified in 2nd place and paced with leader Jonathan Guy early on until Guy fell out of the event with mechanical trouble. Staropoli inherited the lead and never looked back, taking the feature win in the 50 lap main event!! Staropoli dedicated the win to Mikey Toemmes – a very popular crew chief in the racing community who is in critical condition after a car accident last week. Toemmes has mentored many drivers including Staropoli, making the win that much more meaningful on Saturday night.
