(Miami, Fl 4.16.18) – Patrick Staropoli and Jim McCoy Motorsports kept the momentum rolling Saturday night at Citrus County Speedway, picking up their second consecutive win in just their second start of 2018!
The #64 Chevy set fast time in practice and captured the pole position in qualifying. Staropoli started the race 7th after the inversion and made his way up to 3rd by lap 11. It was then a 3-way battle between Staropoli, Steve Dorer, and Wayne Anderson for the top spot with Staropoli squeezing by on the inside with a 3-wide pass down the backstretch! He then held off several charges on late-race restarts to take home the checkered flag in the 50 lap feature event.
