PATRICK STAROPOLI is 34 years old, a summa cum laude graduate of Harvard University, an Alpha Omega Alpha graduate of the University of Miami Medical School, and a Vitreoretinal Surgeon who completed residency and fellowship at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute – the #1 ranked Eye Hospital in the United States for 23 consecutive years. However, since 2003, Patrick has taken the same skill and determination he uses in medicine and applied it to his passion for racing. Patrick progressed from gokarts to Super Late Models and was a winner of the inaugural PEAK Challenge, awarding him the chance to become a development driver for Michael Waltrip Racing and the first doctor in the history to win a NASCAR race.
