(Plantation, 7.21.15) – After almost 1 year out of the seat of the PEAK Antifreeze Late Model, Patrick Staropoli and the Star Racing team were set to make their return Saturday night at Showtime Speedway in St. Petersburg, FL. However, Mother Nature had other plans. After 3 practice sessions were recorded, officials cancelled the remaining events as the skies opened up. Staropoli’s thoughts –>
“It felt great to get back behind the wheel. By the final session we finally had a good balance on the car and were within striking distance of the fastest guys who compete here weekly. To come out of the box that strong makes me proud of our effort and thankful for the support from PEAK, Paul’s Transmissions, HMS, and iRacing. It’s just a matter of finding the next race that matches up with the school schedule, then we’ll come out here and do everything we can to take a trophy home with us.”
