About Patrick

PATRICK STAROPOLI is 28 years old, a summa cum laude graduate of Harvard University, and an Alpha Omega Alpha graduate of the University of Miami Medical School. He has excelled in school consistently ranking in the Top 10% of his class, and will begin ophthalmology residency in July 2017 at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute – the #1 ranked Eye Hospital in the Country for 16 consecutive years. However, since 2003, Patrick has taken the same skill and determination he uses in medicine and applied it to his passion for racing. He had progressed from gokarts to Super Late Models when the opportunity of a lifetime presented itself in 2013: Patrick was selected out of over 700 entries and won the inaugural PEAK Challenge. He became a development driver Michael Waltrip Racing and the first doctor in the history of the sport to ever win a NASCAR race.
