Miami, FL (05.30.21) – Jim McCoy Racing and Patrick Staropoli saw the stars align Saturday night when they made their first trip to victory lane of the 2021 season. While the #64 Chevrolet has been competitive this year, a string of bad luck has taken them out of several races where they were in contention to win. Staropoli qualified 3rd and spent most of the race closely trailing the leaders while battling a sticking throttle. He advanced to second with under 10 to go and a late race restart positioned the 64 to grab the lead from the outside and park it in victory lane!
